Canon: Pandora Hearts
Canon Point: Chapter 59
Background: Here
Personality:
Lily is the youngest member of the Baskerville family and because of this she is very childish in many respects. Despite her time in the Abyss, one hundred years, it barely felt like it to her since the flow of time is altered. So many of her personality traits remain the same as well as her values.
At her core Lily is a highly emotional and reckless character. Her emotions drive her in most situations and she rarely thinks before she flies off the handle. This is why she typically gets in a lot more trouble than she should at times. She will often resort to violence and attack when she is upset instead of calmly talking it out. Much like a child throwing a tantrum, except this child has a dangerous creature to help her fight and kill. With this fact her idea of playing is a little warped. While she is playful in nature, her way of playing is allowing her chain to kill those on her mission and to attack other chains. This just shows how brutal she can be and sometimes has to be. Showing that despite her age she is more than ready to do what is needed and has killed people before on Master Glen's orders.
Since she was shunned and left to die by her own village and real family, all she knows is that the Baskervilles took her in; with love and acceptance so as far as she's concerned, they are her real family. It's because of this acceptance for the first time in her life that she is so fiercely protective of them and loyal to Master Glen. All she has is her family and she's never had anyone she could call a friend. So while she genuinely wants to have a playmate and friends, the idea is still something new for her. The way of going about making friends is still a little hard for her to wrap her mind around. Though the more she feels connected to someone, the more she desires their friendship. This is clear in the way she felt close to Reim and asked to be his friend. So even when he shot her, she still felt hurt and wanted to be friends. Not completely understanding why her desire to follow Glen's orders is so bad to Reim and others.
Regardless of the negativity in her past, Lily remains almost painfully optimistic and happy at times. She can almost be seen as bubbly in nature, but this leads to how she can be quite ignorant and naive, or even gullible. She is quick to pour her heart out when she feels comfortable and trusts people she views as similar to herself. For example, when Reim showed her his chain, she never expected it to be a distraction before he shot her and it exemplifies her trusting and naive nature. She believes the best in most people, enough that she can also be extremely honest in reply and will share her plans when she likes someone. However she can be wary if it's needed or if she knows the person is dangerous. Her main defense when she is hurt is to resort to playing with Bandersnatch with the source of the pain. This can be bad enough that others have to even step in to comfort and stop her behavior.
Although she is naive to many matters she is not dumb by any means. Lily is very good at picking up things from other people, if she focuses. She can tell, with Vincent, when the man is lying to her. Especially when it has to do with his teasing her. It's all in harmless fun but it still hurts her feelings, mostly when her 'bad luck' is brought up in someway. Lily is sensitive in many sense and cries easily if she's hurt but the one topic she doesn't like is her 'bad luck'. Being a member of the Baskerville she distorts the people around her but it seems that her distortion can be more than others at times. So when it's brought up she does get upset and will get defensive.
Lily is also very blunt at times and doesn't know how to filter what she does and doesn't say to people. She will tell it like it is and tell a person just what she thinks of them. This is especially true if the other person is teasing her or being mean. She is not above pointing out what she thinks and she will be extremely honest. This kind of behavior also leads to her being a little demanding at times but ultimately she isn't a bad person, just young. With age she would grow out of some but with the way her life is many will remain.
Abilities:
Ability to heal from injuries sustained from outside the Abyss. A good example of this is when she was shot in the head with a gun by Reim. It hurt and she bled but it did not kill her. While Fang was able to be killed by Break's chain the mad hatter. This is mainly because they are close to chains themselves and that anything, besides something of the Abyss, can not kill them.
Another ability is the fact that Lily can warp the reality around her. This is manifested in the form of bad luck following her. It's because of this that her village thought it was the work of a devil and branded her. The actual reason is because she's a Baskerville.
The main ability that Lily uses, however, is her chain, Bandersnatch. She formed an illegal contract with the chain sometime after she was taken into the Baskerville estate. A chain is a creature of the Abyss that a human can form a contract with, usually being told they will receive something in return for the contract. While it will kill most and they will be dragged into the Abyss, Baskerville's are special and able to form contracts without falling into the Abyss. Lily is very close to her chain and treats it lovingly, holding a special bond. He is her primary means of protection as well as attacking.
Alignment: Elios - For Lily hate and love are two big features to her over all personality. She is capable of showing a lot of affection and admiration towards people, as well as wanting to make friends. But on the reverse she holds grudges and not let things go, ultimately giving into her feelings of hurt and hate resulting in her lashing out at those around her.

I want to find...We need to find it.
The words continued to repeat in her mind as she walked through what was left of that mansion. Lottie had told her there was something valuable to the Hatter that might have been left here. It was a doll, one he was quite fond of. If she could find it then she could take it and destroy it. Then he would know just how much he hurt her. Just the thought of doing something to hurt the man made her giddy, but it was almost bitter sweet for a moment. After all he was the first to attack Fang and her...he was the person that even killed Fang.
Lily looked around the remains of the mansion, hands clenched in her robes, knuckles turning white from her grip. It happened in this place. She was with Fang when they tried to escape but when the second man appeared and she saw his chain was Raven, she just couldn't let them leave. That chain belonged to Master Glen, not him, he didn't have any right to have it. A tinge of anger filled her at the thought of Raven being taken, but it slowly turned into a feeling of guilt. They went back because she insisted and he, the Hatter, tried to kill her, but Fang took the blow instead. If it hadn't been for Fang she would have been the one to die. He took her place and the image of him fading into dust was burned into her memory. Her eyes began to water up until she forced the sadness down and replaced it with anger. Quickly she shook her head from side to side and covered her ears with her hands, in an attempt to focus her thoughts.
No...NO, NO! It was his fault.
Balling her hands into fists her face turned much more stern. If it wasn't for the Hatter none of this would have happened. She needed to hurt him too. He may have been in line to be executed by Master Glen but she wanted to see him hurt even before that. He deserved as much pain as she could summon, for Fang.
Her desire to find the doll was all the stronger as she sent out her chain. Out of thin air the dog-like chain appeared and began to search. It was only a matter of time before they found it. When she heard the bark of her chain she knew it found what they were looking for. As it trotted over and dropped the doll in her hands, she stared at it with a curious gaze before turning it in different ways. It was a weird doll.
"Why would he care about this thing?" She asked her chain, that just whined in return. Lily smoothed the hair on the doll down then noticing the teeth marks. "Ah! No, I need to get those out." Hurriedly she rubbed out the marks the best she could before she held it up in the air. With an admiring sort of look she smiled at the weird doll. "There! Good as new!" Her hands tight around it, she caught herself admiring her work and she scrunched her nose in an attempt to look annoyed at it. Slowly she brought it back down and gave Bandersnatch a look.
"Good job! Now we can take this back with us." With that the chain vanished and she held the doll close under her cape when a familiar voice called out. It was Doug. All too happily she ran over to the other man. With a jump she clung to his back with a wide grin. "Doug! I'm ready now!" When they got back she could really make the Hatter pay. She would tear the doll apart in front of him, he would lose it forever and then he would die. That was the plan, anyway.
